THE FORCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The Training Movement That Is Revolutionizing DT

The (R)Evolution of DT:

Why Are Instructors Adopting the FMS System?

1.
A FRESH APPROACH

The Force Management System provides a simple and common-sense STRUCTURE to DT , just as every other science or discipline does.  It removes all of the confusion surrounding Hands-On Use of Force.

2.
A SIMPLE SYSTEM

Let's be honest; the majority of systems ask Officers to learn FAR TOO MANY TECHNIQUES!  Stop wasting your time learning complex techniques you'll never use and invest that time learning to respond to real energy and movement.

3.
IT'S SAFE TO TRAIN AND USE

With a structure that keeps your Officers safe during training, and a significant reduction in the number of techniques you ask them to learn, they will quickly become more engaged, and training becomes fun.

4.
SKILL TRANSFER IS IMMEDIATE

When Officers experience an immediate effect in their ability to apply something, their confidence increases.  When their confidence increases, the intensity of subject-resistance decreases, and the frequency of physical force encounters is reduced.

ALL OF THIS EQUALS A WIN-WIN;
A WIN FOR THE OFFICERS, A WIN FOR SUBJECTS, AND A WIN FOR THE COMMUNITY.

How Do You Measure the Actual Value of a DT System?

We Deliver More Value than ANY System in the World
Efficiency of Training Time

The 3/7/10 Method

Get 80% better results in 20% of the time.  Use our simple 3-Dimensional Training Formula and you'll see FAR better results faster.  Over the course of even one year you can quadruple your investment of time and training dollars.

A Training Method and a Teaching SYSTEM

Progressive Drill Building

Your Method of Training is only one aspect of a true system; Teaching it effectively is an entirely different skill set altogether!  The FMS is BOTH a Training Method AND a Teaching System.

Enhanced Liability Protection

Objective Reviews by Independant SME's

With ongoing Legal, Tactical, and Medical Reviews by Objective Industry Experts, you and your Municipal Risk Provider can rest assured knowing you have done everything possible to Limit Risk and Reduce Liability.  This is an attribute you cannot place a price on.

Reduced Training Injuries

Direct Energy Training

Find the "sweet spot" between useless static drills and unsafe "Officer Survival" Insanity.  It's called Direct-Energy Training and is completely safe to use.  Once experienced, you will never view DT training the same way again.

Limiting Use of Force Complaints

The Safest Takedowns Available

Managing a Subject Effectively means reducing the overall Violence of Motion and shortening the Duration of an Event.  This is the ONLY PATHWAY to Managing Applied Force and Limiting UOF Complaints.

Post-Event Support That Works and is Simple to Use

Force University LMS

Our Online Learning Management System (LMS) is Called Force University.  It has videos of every drill and progression you will learn in class, as well as 2, 4, and 8 hour Lesson Plans.  Your 24/7 access to this resource will likely be your most valuable takeaway.

About your Instructor

Prior to launching Talon Global, Eric was the Chief Instructor at the Detroit Combatives Club.  From 1998-2012 he taught the weekly DT/Subject Control Courses to active Police Officers. During this time he learned just how dissatisfied and frustrated most Officers were with their DT options. He set out on a mission to find out why most systems were failing and what could be done about it.  The Force Management System is that Method, and represents countless hours of research, testing, and feedback from Instructors.  It has been designed seeing through the eyes of the In-Service Instructor, and to specifically solve their problems.

Any System that creates more injuries in training than it prevents in the street is, by definition, unsound.

-Eric Kohtz, President, Talon Global
