There are 3 levels of training
within the Force Management System
- Instructor Certifications
There are 3 Instructor Series in the Force Management System. Each Series has 2 Instructor Certifications.
Series 1, the Liability Reduction Series, focuses on developing in-service skill sets that are proven to mitigate risk through the most current best practices. It does this by teaching techniques that are lower liability yet amazingly still high performance. This series includes FMS 1 and 2.
Series 2, the Injury Prevention Series, focuses on higher intensity training methods. These classes teach instructors how to design and structure drilling progressions which prevent the injuries common to these higher energy modalities. This Series includes FMS 3 and 4.
Series 3, the High Performance Series, FMS 5 and 6, focuses on how to deliver two higher complexity skill sets (Compressed Combatives and Ground Dominance), yet do so in short intervals of time, a challenge common to most in-service instructors.
- SME Programs
There are currently 3 Subject Matter Expert Program within the Force Management System.
These programs designate the absolute highest level of training and expertise in the hands-on use of force community.
There are 3 Ways
to Engage With Us in Training
- Attend an already scheduled event or host an event yourself
- Have us Certify Your Instructor Cadre
Oftentimes it is the case that an agency, due to it’s size, has a larger instructor cadre. In these instances it may be more convenient and less costly to bring our team to you rather than have your entire staff travel to an already hosted event.
In these instances we will bring our MTU to your location and certify your instructors in the subject matters of your choice.
- Have us teach your In-Service Class for you
Sometimes it just makes sense to hire an outside expert to do what needs to be done. Let us show you how to convert officers who may be resistant to in-service DT training.
We can also help your de-conditioned, older, or smaller statured officers with our proprietary “Needs-Based” training formula.
While we’re there, we can even certify any number of your instructors, demonstrating the “How” and letting them see how it’s done the first time out.
